I took the Scrum Master Certification course with Don Patti and it was fantastic. The 3 days went by so fast I didn’t even know I was in class! The interaction with the other students was great because it helped me learn even more. This was a fantastic prep course to take the Certification test. Don was a knowledgeable but fun teacher. I would recommend this course with Don for anyone wanting to prepare for the Scrum Master Certification.

Instructor was highly experienced and did a great job of sharing real-world examples and tying them to the concepts taught. The overall result was a high-quality educational experience that was meaningful and moved the needle on my skill set. I benefitted a lot by attending this course over the past three days. It was great to interact with other students in a similar professional role to my own. The collaborative exercises helped me retain a lot of what I learned. The instructor (David Bulkin) was engaging, and very well informed on the subject matter. I have several ideas after attending the recent Advanced Scrum Master class that I already have in mind to incorporate into my team’s use of Scrum/Agile methodology in our next project Sprint.

Thanks DP for your passion and dedication! The sessions were incredibly informative, and the hands-on approach made learning fun and practical. I took my certification test the day after completing the 2-day course and passed on my first attempt! Highly recommend this Scrum Master class.

The instructor was knowledgeable and the class size was fantastic. I would recommend this training for someone who has no agile training. If you have agile training/experience and are looking for an intro to the SAFe framework, I’m not sure this is the right class. It covers a significant amount of information in a short period and practical exercises, in a few cases, left me with more questions than answer. As stated, this training would probably a good starting point as an introduction to what agility is and how it can apply to an organization.

The Certified ScrumMaster session was better than expected. Not only did I learn about CSM from David Bulkin, but he made it fun. Meeting new people in the on-line class was great too. The Mural board for teaching is an awesome tool. I would recommend Grow-Lean to anyone who wants to be a Certified ScrumMaster!

I have attended online session of CSM Training with Donald J. Patti I have really enjoyed the class. The way the session was broken down in to lecture vs activity was really good. It didn’t feel like I was sitting in 6 hour session at all. Also Don was patiently answered all my questions during the class. I truly felt like I expanded my knowledge and got many insights that I wouldn’t have got just by reading from the books. I have also completed the exam 3 days after the session.The strategy for the exam provided at the session and the materials were really helpful.

Excellent, interactive learning environment and well executed delivery with very interesting and applicable examples and class work that enabled full grasp of the concepts/processes taught.

I enjoyed Don Patti. He made practical lessons and easy to relate to similes helping to enhance the retention. Also the tools provided during and post class allowed me to go into the test with confidence. And not to boast but I passed with a 100%, thanks to their help, on the first attempt.

I recently attended a CSP-SM class from Grow-Lean. I particularly appreciated all of the information that was shared leading up to the class in the class prep email and how friendly and responsive they were when I reached out with a few questions prior to my class. During the class Arlen was an awesome instructor and I appreciated how he was able to share form his wide variety of experience. I would definitely take another class from them again!

Don was an excellent trainer who kept all the students engaged. I enjoyed the interactions and games we played on Miro as teams. That to me helped me better understand the topic at hand. He had good jokes that made us laugh to lighten the mood/day. I would definitely refer a friend to his class because he made sure to address the topics, we wanted to learn more about at length.

I feel that much of the class was geared towards larger companies and this information is great for that audience. However I work for a much smaller organization and I think I got more out of the Advanced CSPO class that would be more applicable for me. Still a very knowledgeable instructor and a LOT of great information. Just not geared toward my application platform environment that I have worked in for the last 30 years.

We had Dave as the instructor for the Product Owner course and his facilitation was wonderful. Super engaging and complete with current relevant experience. A good mix of lectures and and classwork kept me engaged throughout the course and his willingness to answer questions ( I ask a lot of questions) was so appreciated

The online(live) training session is well organized and covered all the agile concepts in detail. Chris Doss, our facilitator did a great job and helped us readdy for the exam by end of the two-day training. Highly recommended for those who want to take their agile implementation to the next level!

The entire course was well structured and started with asking attendees what they wanted from the course. Arlen made sure to check in multiple to make sure we were covering the topics we asked for from the beginning. I found the exercises to be very well thought out and beneficial to applying the techniques and topics reviewed.

It was a super informative session and my trainer, Don Patti, was so fun and friendly! We learned so much in such a short amount of time and it was extremely helpful for helping me get my certification.

David was a very good instructor and he kept the material interesting and kept the class engaged.

Don did a great job explaining the basics of Agile in an engaging way. I followed the guidance he gave and got 100 on the exam. The test itself was not too difficult and the skipping #1 trick worked just fine. Thank You for all the help.

The was one of the best continued education courses I've taken. I am genuinely impressed with the knowledge my instructor, Chris, had. He was able to answer, from experience, questions far outside of scope with ease and to offer advice on how to handle certain situations should they arise. There is zero doubt in my mind that I'm going to be able to pass this cert. It will be mostly due to the instruction I received. The presentations and group activities were spot on in my professional experience. Using those small side meetings to get people talking introduces the mindset needed to be a scrum master. This gave practical experience on top of standard slideshows. You can tell that time and care went into the lesson plan. I am beyond impressed and this was thoroughly worth the time.

This course was informational and enjoyable. Even though the participants had varying levels of work experience, Don Patti moved the course along at a great pace. He had SO MUCH content prepared, which allowed him to ask the participants which topics were of most interest to us and customize the activities to address those key topics. Don was a fantastic instructor!

I loved the interactive portion of this training. I appreciated getting to work in a small group and collaborate on various activities to practice the skills we were learning. The kahoot games helped me solidify what I had learned in the training and it was fun! Thanks, Don!

The class was great, I had David Bulkan as my instructor. He speaks with a lot enthusiasm and kept the class interesting. We did a lot of team exercises that helped with my understanding of theoretical ideas.

Was a great experience and very accommodating. I actually missed a scheduled session and had no challenges switching my registration with no additional charge.

Don Patti made my experience great! He was a fun, engaging, and effective CST instructor. I found the Miro boards to be a good way for the class to work through activities, but some folks couldn't get the hang of it, which was mildly frustrating--not sure how to make that better, though..

Don is a superb instructor - obviously an expert in the Agile and Scrum project management, but just as importantly, he's an expert in teaching these as well as keeping the class's collective attention and interest.

David was a fantastic instructor and teacher. Days later I am still thinking about what we learned and what real-world practices David used during the class that I can bring and utilize to improve our team and therefore improve our client's experiences. David and the others at Grow-Lean come with a lot of experience to back their techniques and approach to CSPO. I will recommend to others to take their course and I, myself, will take more of their courses in the future. You will NOT be disappointed.

Instructor was very good, gave time for the class to go and work on actual assignments which helped myself and others gain a more practical understanding of the concepts. Only reason it is not a 5 star is because a lot of the material while straightforward, is very dry.

The information was presented in a fun way, yet everything I needed to pass the Certified Scrum Master exam was included.

I have had David for all 4 classes I have attended. Cspo, Csm (all three levels)-- he was/is great at combining humor and practical knowledge, each class has been wonderful. If you want to enjoy learning and bring real world experience to these classes, these are the folks to do it with! Theygenuinely want to bring something new from each class to your real job/career.

Very knowledgeable. Fun exercises, made learning scrum fun! I learned so much! Would highly recommend! Gave away virtual prizes which was funny!

DONALD PATTI is a great coach. His coaching technique is easy to follow and well paced. I was never distracted nor bored. Kept us alert and engaged! He is definitely a TOP expert for CSM!

Donald Patti is a world class agile coach! I was lucky enough to have my CSM course facilitated by Donald. He provided one of the most engaging and worthwhile courses I've experienced. Donald is extremely engaging, patient was able to create an interactive and productive environment for the entire class. I passed my exam immediately after the last session.

The overall flow of the session was very well thought out and all areas related to the Product Owner role were covered in great detail. David Bulkin, the trainer, was really engaging and what helped most is the fact that he has been a product owner himself, which means he can train with his own personal experiences.

Don was an OUTSTANDING instructor who made class fun yet I learned ALOT. He was patient and always willing to answer the many questions sent his way. He offered to stay over for anyone wanting extra help. Would absolutely take another class with him.
